Chemical technologies of refractory non-metallic and silicate materials
– assess the risk of chemicals and laboratory studies, and quality control of initial materials and final products of chemical technology;
– carry out a feasibility study of chemical manufacturing, have a command of technological process improvement methods, understand the theoretical and practical approaches to the creation and production management;
– select equipment for technological processes, use automated designing systems for the development of technological and hardware configuration of chemical and technological production;
– starting from the complex of given main and specific properties of silicate goods of various functional purpose, it is scientifically grounded to select raw materials, composition of substances and glaze, carry out technological calculation, design technological schemes and technological parameters, work out the conditions of thermal processing;
– to carry out research work connected with improving of existing or development of new technologies in silicate materials. – ability to solve complex specialized issues and practical problems related to chemical technology and engineering during professional activity or study process: these are characterized by complexity and uncertainty of the conditions that involves the application of certain theories and methods of chemistry, chemical technology and engineering;
– ability to apply the knowledge and practical skills to optimize means of chemical production;
– ability to apply a systematic approach at improving of existing and developing of new technologies of production of silicate materials of various functional purpose;
– ability to solve a complex of practical tasks and organizational measures aimed at improving the quality of the output and increasing the effectiveness of production.
