Computerized Systems of Control and Automation
- select required machine tools complex for designing digital electronic circuits computers to effectively solve engineering problems;
- rate the complexity and features of the task of calculating analog and digital automation devices and reasonably choose appropriate mathematical methods and applications of machine design;
- perform specific system transients calculation based on implicit numerical integration methods;
- develop control system structure to calculate its parameters according to accepted (set) optimality criterion;
- develop software for computerized control systems using the organization principles and control algorithms for data structures using programming languages means on the platform NET;
- based on the initial information flows from the management system object using mathematical methods of calculation, to be able to apply informative digital signal processing to further transfer them for analysis and decision making to the microprocessor control units;
- perform patent search, patent application preparation, evaluate the precision of the measurement result. - ability to design combinational, sequential circuits and complex digital systems;
- the ability to evaluate and choose the functional components of computer aided design;
- basic knowledge of calculation established processes, stability analysis of nonlinear mode of the electromagnetic devices;
- the ability to apply the methods of analysis and synthesis of computerized management systems;
- ability to organize work according to the requirements of life safety and health;
- ability to plan and organize work on the establishment, operation of flexible robotic systems of the automated systems;
- know the basics and principles of object oriented programming;
- basic knowledge of the theoretical foundations of methods of analysis, synthesis and optimization of automated control systems.

Gained competence: - explain the basics of computer integrated systems, including production facilities, the main technological equipment, processes and management;
- know the basics and problem-aided design and basic design stages, especially the design of analog, discrete and analog-discrete automation devices;
- know the principles of digital control systems of technological objects at the structural level, as well as methods of technical implementation of such systems;
- explain the features of the organization of interface control computers and programmable microprocessor controller with object management and exchange of information between technical means of digital systems;
- explain the techniques underlying the conversion from analog signals to digital signals and vice versa, approaches to the compression of signals and images.
