Computerized Control Systems and Automatics
- design and calculate individual blocks of electronic means using behavioral description and structured description language VHDL, using modern РС and systems for design work and scientific and technical calculations;
- develop a system for digital analysis and filtering of signals using digital signal conversion method using signal microprocessors;
- based on the initial information flows from the facility management system using mathematical methods of calculation, to be able to apply digital signal processing informative to further transfer them for analysis and decision making on the microprocessor control units;
- for specific production conditions, to assess the applicability of remote control and monitoring, to ensure harmonization with existing systems in manufacturing, qualified to perform system maintenance. - ability to design automation and control systems based on microcontrollers;
- basic knowledge of the methods of transformation of information and signals;
- basic knowledge of the theory and practice of analysis and application of electronic means;
- possession of the basics and principles of object oriented programming;
- ability to apply methods of analysis and synthesis of computerized control systems;
- ability to plan and organize work on the establishment, operation of robotic complexes of flexible automated systems;
- basic knowledge of the basics of digital processing of signals and images, based on the modern methods of signal conversion;

Gained competence: The program is based on the known positions and results of modern scientific and technological research on digital methods of signal processing and imaging, intelligent management technologies, synthesis of digital systems automation, computer simulation, experimental design and planning studies, computer technology and programming, flexible robotic systems automated production.
- explain the problem, design methods, the main stages of the design of microprocessor devices and interfaces;
- explain the principles of construction of information converters;
- explain the techniques underlying the conversion from analog signals to digital signals and vice versa, approaches to the compression of signals and images;
- explain the approaches and methods of object oriented analysis for simulation of control systems;
- know the basics and problem aided design and basic design stages, especially the design of analog, discrete and analog devices, discrete automation;
- describe the structure and principles of signaling microprocessors, application of signal microprocessors, which are the means of implementation of modern systems of any digital signal;
- explain the problems associated with the management of objects located from the control center at a considerable distance, data transmission channels, principles of construction of remote control and monitoring.
- provide appropriate choice of microprocessor systems, execute the project design document, perform interfacing of microprocessor devices with other devices system;- explain the principles of construction of information converters;
- explain the techniques underlying the conversion from analog signals to digital signals and vice versa, approaches to the compression of signals and images;
