- Knowledge and understanding of the basic categories, concepts and scientific principles that underlie the development of international economic relations.
- Knowledge of regularities of functioning and development of market system of organization of economic life internationally.
- Knowledge of trends in the development of international financial markets and financial mechanisms that serve the functioning of the international economy.
- Knowledge of peculiarities of development of international investment and innovation activity, principles of formation of investment portfolio, methods of evaluating the effectiveness of portfolio and real investments.
- Knowledge of methods of conducting commercial operations in foreign markets, technology of conducting commercial negotiations with the use of different negotiation tactics.
- Knowledge of procedure of preparation, conclusion and execution of foreign trade agreements, structure, content, typical forms of foreign trade documentation.
- Knowledge of features of tariff regulation of international trade, modern international debt policy.
- Knowledge of peculiarities of foreign trade agreements and contracts, international and national standards of audit of foreign trade operations.
- Knowledge of methods of quantitative assessment of mass phenomena and processes in the world economy, procedures for collecting statistical information, identifying trends and relationships in the world economy.
- Ability to apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve problems of development of international economic relations.
- Ability to analyze integration processes, stages and types of international integration groups.
- Ability to analyze objective prerequisites for the origin and content of global problems, their classification, the main directions and role of international organizations in solving global problems, the activities of transnational corporations.
- Ability to substantiate theoretical concepts of state regulation of international trade in goods and services.
- Ability to analyze the structure of the global economy by different criteria of economic development.
- Ability to identify trends in the study of business processes.
