• skills to explore foreign markets, to conduct comparative analytical monitoring of competitors, to conclude and execute agreements with foreign counterparts, to ensure customs clearance of goods.
• skills to perform express- and comprehensive diagnostics of economic operators current state and potential, to identify threats of international economic environment on time and to create a system of preventive measures in foreign trade activity;
• skills to organize, develop and balance the relationship with stakeholders (exporters, importers, consumers, customs and brokerage agencies, public authorities, financial, credit, transport, logistics, insurance, legal organizations) in terms of foreign trade activity implementation;
• skills to manage transnational corporations, international holdings, associations, corporations, consortia and other international organizations;
• skills to ensure interaction between foreign economic operators and customs authorities, to carry out customs clearance of goods, persons and vehicles, to provide information and documentary support for customs activities. 1) the ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of bases of specialization professional-oriented disciplines in the sphere of management of customs and foreign economic activity, documentary and informational provision of customs activity, expertise in customs and foreign economic activity, development of customs control technologies, customs risks management, customs control, customs and brokerage activities;
2)the ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customs management system at various levels;
3)the ability to plan, organize, monitor and regulate customs activities at all levels, use classical and innovative mechanisms for motivating personnel in the field of customs activities;
4)the ability to carry out high-quality informational and documentary provision of customs support of foreign economic activity;
5)the ability to provide customs clearance and declaration of goods, persons and vehicles;
6)the ability to calculate the customs value of goods with the use of various valid methods and techniques.

Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: If the previous degree is obtained in other countries nostrification is required, which is held by Lviv Polytechnic. Non-formal and informal educations are not recognized.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: The full completion of the curriculum, passing the qualification exam, practical training on the theme of master's qualifying thesis and presentation of master's qualifying thesis
Characteristics of the educational program:
Gained competence: Masters of "Management" specialty acquire in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge, abilities, and skills in management, master the general principles of the methodology of scientific and professional activities, acquire other competences necessary for constructive solutions of complex problems and effective performance of tasks of innovative character in professional work in conditions of uncertainty.
In particular, educational and professional program of masters by specialization of “Management of customs activity” is based on the fundamental postulates and results of modern researches in the sphere of management of customs and foreign economic activity, documentary and informational provision of customs activity, determination of customs value of goods, expertise in customs and foreign economic activity, development of customs control technologies, customs risks management, customs control, tariff and non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity, customs and brokerage activities, management of expenses of subjects of foreign economic activity.
Masters by specialization of “Management of customs activity” acquire the complex of knowledge, abilities and skills, sufficient for customs activity management at different levels in public and private structures, a wide range of processes and operations in customs activities, as well as for the provision of customs support for foreign economic activities.
• deep knowledge and understanding of international cooperation and international business processes, integration and globalization, parameters of modern international economic environment, enterprises management in terms of foreign trade activity, transnational corporations management;
• deep knowledge and understanding of foreign trade operations implementation, their organizational, resource, legal, logistic, customs, transport, expeditionary, insurance, managerial support;
• deep knowledge and understanding of the customs support processes, documentary registration and information provision of foreign economic operations;
• deep knowledge and understanding of the state’s principles and directions for protection of customs interests and ensuring of Ukraine customs security, regulation of foreign trade, protection of the domestic market, Ukraine's economic development and its integration into the global economy.
