- To think creatively and systematically about the formation of innovative ideas in journalism;
- To calculate, design and study market trends, to conduct a marketing analysis of media output, to put on market new mass media projects;
- To evaluate the results of journalistic and mass media activities critically, to be able to defend decisions reasonably;
- To identihy, formulate and solve the problem of the media development using modern marketing techniques.

Gained competence: - To possess knowledge in areas related to the journalism, to assess the situation in the media critution in the media critically, to identify key trends of journalism and media;
- To understand the tools and strategies for diagnosing the analysis of mass media condition and development at a level that will allow finding employment by specialty, useing knowledge and creativity in the field of mass media effectively;
- To have the knowledge, skills to develop and implement new innovative mass media projects;
- To understand the impact of the media in the informative, public, economic, social and environmental context;
- To have the knowledge to organize and conduct journalistic research successfully, to create new knowledge and to present the results of research activities.
