Characteristics of the educational program:
Educational and professional and professional program is based on public position and results of research in area of “Applied Mathematics” and is focused on ability to build and explore complex mathematical models (including specialized) in professional activity; ability to construct and use modern computational methods for study of such models; creation and use of modern software products that are used for collecting and processing information.
Gained competence:
– knowledge and understanding of scientific and mathematical principles underlying mathematical modeling;
– professional knowledge of general theory of systems; base of analytical, numerical and stochastic approaches to system model study; information technologies of collecting and storing information; software algorithms and their implementation in studies using computational experiment;
– knowledge and skills for data collection, processing and modeling (including use of computational experiment) processes and phenomena;
– knowledge of current state of new technologies in the field of mathematical modeling.
– ability to impact received assessment and recommended solutions in social, economic, and environmental context;
– apply knowledge and understanding to solve problems of synthesis and analysis of simulated systems;
– design, explore, and debug software and network equipment for problems of mathematical modeling.
– search for information in various sources for solving specialty problems;
– work effectively both individually and within a team;
– carry out relevant research and apply their skills at research problems.
