Radio Electronic Equipment, Systems and Complexes
- upgrading and alignment of units, devices and systems with microprocessor applications;
- radio devices and systems certification;
- units, devices, systems and complexes of signal processing, measuring systems, data transfer channels design utilizing software and modern component applications;
- research into device and system properties within laboratory and in situ (real – conditions) experimentation, planning and performing theoretical study and experimental research. - solid understanding and comprehensive knowledge of advanced tendencies in electronic engineering and telecommunications and prospects for their products application, knowledge and skills of software applications for electronic engineering;
- knowledge of novel materials and innovative technologies in the electronic materials and components, units and devices manufacturing;
- understanding and knowledge of industrial procedures and processes used in design and manufacturing of electronic products; knowledge of ecological challenges and principles of environmental and occupational safety related to device production and application;
- sound understanding of business administration and of economical aspects (problem of the existing and new electronic products cost efficiency);
- solid knowledge of research methodology.

Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: Assuming that preceding grade was obtained in another country, the nostrification provided by Lviv polytechnic national university is required. There are no mechanisms of acknowledgement of informal and nonformal education.

Characteristics of the educational program:
Gained competence: - principles of radiocommunication, broadcasting and TV systems and devices structural and functional design and modelling, antennas, VHF devices, cable TV systems and information networks, microprocessors and their applications in computers and radio equipment;
- modern programming languages and systems and devices analysis/synthesis software applications;
- radio equipment metrology, certification and standardization;
- economics and manufacturing management, safety measures, occupational and environmental safety;
- modern resources of scientific, technical and referential information, innovative activities and intellectual property rights usage;
- signal theory and signal processing theory (digital signals included), displays and display systems, principles of information security means in devices, radar, radio navigation and information networks functioning and design, design and alignment of information receiving and transmitting multichannel information networks;
- radio electronic research methodology.
