- ability to use the acquired knowledge about architecture, principles of construction and functioning of telecommunication systems in order to design the plans of coverage for telecommunication networks;
- ability to apply the acquired knowledge about modulation types, technologies and protocols of transmission in telecommunication systems and networks for development of frequency plans;
- ability to effectively apply methods and tools of automated design in the process of circuit design;
- ability to develop functionally completed projects using modern single-chip programmable systems (PSoC);
- ability to written and oral communication in Ukrainian and in, at least, one of the most common European languages. - understanding of the subject area and the specialty, as well as the ability to apply knowledge in practice;
- ability to search and analyze information from different sources, generate new ideas, develop a creative approach;
- acquire a flexible way of thinking that makes it possible to understand and solve problems and tasks while maintaining a critical attitude towards established scientific concepts;
- ability to evaluate technical indicators and expediency of projects realization, evaluate the economic feasibility of the development, modernization, production, implementation and operation of telecommunication facilities, systems and networks.

Gained competence: - the technologies and protocols of signal transmission in telecommunication systems and networks, communication organization schemes in telecommunication systems using basic technologies;
- the concepts of the implementation of next generation telecommunication systems and networks;
- the main types of design operations and procedures of circuit and functional-logic design of electronic devices;
- the functional schemes of devices of radio-electronic apparatus (REA) control, basic hardware and software methods of REA control and the main indicators of their efficiency;
- the types of technical maintenance, means and methods of increasing the reliability of radio-electronic systems and complexes;
- the methods of estimation and ways of increase the reliability and safety of non-reserved, reserved, renewable and non-renewable radio-electronic systems and complexes;
- the basic methods of providing the physical and information security of communications;
- the basic methods of providing the transmitting and receiving radio signals, including knowledge of modern modulation methods and correlation processing.
