Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of the basics of the theory of decision-making,
knowledge of methods, models, principles and stages of the decision-making process; practical possession of the technology of making managerial decisions; practical skills of forecasting managerial decisions; ability to plan decision-making processes in an organization or in an enterprise; ability to analyze decisions taken; the ability to model situations that arise in the enterprise and seek ways to solve them; mastering the practical skills of documenting the decision-making process; knowledge of the features of decision support systems in entrepreneurship and trade; understanding of the prospects of the development of information technologies and systems in the field of automation of decision-making processes at enterprises and in trade.

Summary of the subject:
Introduction. Brief historical background on the development of the theory of decision-making. Situation of choice and decision making tasks. The decision making process. General scheme, classification of decision support methods. Expert decision-making procedures. Review of expert methods. One and multi-purpose decision-making tasks. Decision making under conditions of risk and uncertainty. Classification of methods of decision-making support in conditions of uncertainty. General scheme of decision-making under uncertainty. Modern decision support systems and their use in business and commerce.
