The Department of Management and International Business, Lviv Polytechnic National University, held a meeting on Erasmus+ KA2 project «Structuring cooperation in doctoral research, transferrable skills training, and academic writing instruction in Ukraine’s regions» / DocHub, № 8 574064-EPP-1–2016 –1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP, which was attended by the representatives of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Semen Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, V. Sukhomlynskyi Mykolayiv National University, Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of NAS of Ukraine and Institute for Condensed Matter Physics of NAS of Ukraine.
The participants of the meeting discussed the peculiarities of accreditation of PhD-programs, in particular, actively discussed the criteria for evaluating both PhD-programs and programs at other educational and qualification levels, especially writing A Self-Examination Report and presenting arguments to experts. Associate Professor Roman Shuliar stressed the importance of forming a structural unit that would facilitate information and consultation support for participants of the accreditation process. In addition, Assistant Professor Schuliar presented the proposals for Erasmus+ KA2 project «Education Quality Assurance System via Cooperation of University – Business-Government in HEIs» (EDUQAS), 586109-EPP-1–2017–1-RO-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP (2017 –2895 / 001–001) regarding the structure and functions of such a unit.
It is important to note that the DocHub project gave the opportunity to nine postgraduate students of Lviv Polytechnic (from ICSIT, IEM, IHSS, ICTA and IMFS) to go to partner universities abroad and participate in research schools for PHD students. In particular, postgraduate students Roksana Pryveda and Vasyl Lenko shared their impressions and achievements of participating in such international events.
