Orest Vasylko, Head of Leonardo da Vinci Center for Italian-Ukrainian Cooperation at Lviv Polytechnic National University, took part in the Enhanced Italian Language Course (online) at COINS Consortium (Consorzio per l’Internalizzazione e dello Sviluppo), Italy, and received a diploma.
This diploma will enable the Head of the Center to conduct Italian language classes (the course is scheduled for September-October 2020) for University students and staff in accordance with the signed agreements – both with COINS Consortium and other Italian universities. In particular, there are agreements between Poliarte Fine Arts And Design Academy in Ancona and the Institute of Architecture and Design, the University of Naples Federico II and the Institute of Engineering Mechanics and Transport, Salesian Pontifical University and the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies. Within the framework of signed agreements regarding student exchange, double degree and other international programmes Lviv Polytechnic students and University employees are required to speak the Italian language.
Information on the beginning of the Italian language courses (group enrollment) will be shortly posted on the University’s website. Courses are offered at A1-A2, B1-B2 levels, and if necessary – C1-C2.
In October the Director of the COINS Consortium is to come to Lviv Polytechnic National University to sign a cooperation agreement regarding student exchange and Visiting Professor programmes, etc.
