On August 22, the main stage of the admission campaign – the acceptance of electronic admission applications to higher education institutions for a bachelor’s and master’s degree on the basis of complete general secondary education was completed. According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, more than 1 million electronic applications were registered.
Lviv Polytechnic received 42,451 applications, and took fourth place in the top 10 most popular universities by the number of applications.
The most popular among entrants were the following specialties:
- 081 Law – 116 thousand 689 (applications);
- 073 Management – 92 thousand 147;
- 035 Philology – 76 thousand 708;
- 122 Computer Science – 63 thousand 410;
- 014 Secondary education – 62 thousand 676;
- 051 Economy – 50 thousand 841;
- 121 Software Engineering – 47 thousand 038;
- 072 Finance, banking and insurance – 46 thousand 844;
- 053 Psychology – 43 thousand 791;
- 075 Marketing – 42 thousand 379.
Tomorrow, August 27, entrants will find out whether they have received a recommendation to study at government or region funded places. The status of application, which received a recommendation, would change to «Recommended for enrollment».
