On September 11, 2020 at 18:00 the enrollment in the government funded places for a master’s degree on the basis of a bachelor’s degree to higher education institutions in the field of management of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine ended. There are 35,837 such entrants.
The largest number of master’s entrants are in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 1 472. The top ten universities include institutions of such cities as Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Ternopil:

- National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» – 881;
- National Pedagogical Dragomanov University – 617;
- Ternopil National Economic University – 563;
- Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University – 559.
The leading specialties by the number of entrants enrolled in the government funded places are «Secondary Education», «Computer Science» and «Power engineering»:

- 122 Computer Science – 1691;
- 141 Electrical energetics, electrical engineering and electromechanics – 1266;
- 035 Philology – 1151;
- 192 Construction and civil engineering – 1045;
- 123 Computer Engineering – 1007;
- 081 Law – 1006;
- 201 Agronomy – 930;
- 051 Economy – 896;
- 151 Automation and computer-integrated technologies – 864.
Let us remind that almost 52,000 bachelor’s and junior bachelor’s entrants are enrolled in the government funded places. In particular, 2297 – in Lviv Polytechnic that brought the University to third place in the ranking by the number of entrants, enrolled in the government funded places.
