Lviv Polytechnic National University is holding the 2nd round of all-Ukrainian student competition in Pedagogy for students of higher educational institutions of non-pedagogical type to discover, select and support students, to develop and realise students’ abilities, to stimulate creative work of students from higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

The Department of Restoration of Architectural and Artistic Heritage of the Institute of Architecture of Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine), State School of Higher Education in Chełm (Poland) and other organizers are pleased to invite you to participate in the IX International Scientific Conference «Current issues in research, conservation and restoration of historical fortifications», which will take place on June 12–16 2017 in Lviv (Ukraine) and Chełm (Poland).

The Department of Theoretical and Applied Psychology of the Institute of Jurisprudence and Psychology in Lviv Polytechnic National University is inviting to participate in a Scientific Practical Conference with international participation «The psychology of national security», which is to take place in Lviv on April 25, 2017.

Ukrainian Wikipedia is celebrating its 13th birthday. On this occasion Scientific and Technical Library of Lviv Polytechnic National University joins all-Ukrainian Wikimarathon, which has embraced more than 20 cities of the country. Wikipedia writers, scientists and librarians are going to discuss the possibility of using Wikiprojects to popularize knowledge.

All those interested are invited to Lviv Polytechnic Student Library (room 404, 3 Mytropolyt Andrey str.) on January 30, 2017, at 2 pm. Come and join the marathon!

Presentation of new works of father Rafayil Turkonyak, legendary translator of Ostroh Bible, is to be held on February 9, 2017 within the framework of Iryna Farion’s author project «From the book to the aim».

Venue – room 116, academic building І, Lviv Polytechnic National University (2/4 Karpinskiy srt.). Beginning – 4 pm.

From January 30 till February 3 2017 Lviv Polytechnic National University will host exchange of experience in realizing social and scientific projects between Dnipro Region and Lviv Region. The project is realized within the framework of the National Exchange Program and financed by European Union and National Endowment for Democracy (USA).

Target group: young people in Dnipro Region and Lviv Region (scientific and educational sphere employees, public activists, youth leaders).
