About workshop trains

The workshop trains foreign citizens in Ukrainian language as well as in other subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science etc.).

Those persons, who have successfully completed studies at the Training Workshop, receive appropriate certificates.

Graduates of the Training Workshop have the opportunity to continue their studies at the L’viv Polytechnic National University as well as in other technical, medical, humanitarian Ukrainian higher schools.

The annual cost of studying on the basis of Ukrainian language is $ 1500.

The Department also conducts a set of English-language groups for persons who do not speak or speak English inadequately.

After successful completion of the studies, such graduates may continue their studies in the chosen specialty in English at technical or medical Ukrainian higher schools.

The annual cost of studying on the basis of English language is $ 1600.

The cost of living in a hostel is $ 60. US per month (payable in UAH at the National Bank of Ukraine rate).

In order to join the Preparatory Department, you must e-mail (dfs@lpnu.ua or dfs@lp.edu.ua) the scanned copies of the following documents:

• passport;
• photography;
• document on previous education;
• Questionnaire (sample attached);
• consent to the processing of personal data (sample attached);
• mailing address information to send the original training invitation.

After considering these documents, the original invitation to study is sent to the specified address, on the basis of which a visa for study is issued at the consular institution of Ukraine abroad.

A foreign national arriving for study must have with them:

• a complete set of documents on previous education (originals) with information on the assessment system, according to which the grades are presented;
• medical certificate issued no later than three months before arrival in Ukraine;
• birth Certificate.

Prior education documents must be legalized in accordance with the law of the country in which they were issued.

Foreign nationals who have received a visa must inform the university in advance of the date of arrival and the flight number of the aircraft in order to meet them at the airport.
