- Integrate and apply the acquired knowledge from different cross-curricular areas in the process of solving theoretical and applied problems in a specific field of research.
- Choose and apply the methodology and tools of scientific research in carrying out theoretical and empirical studies in the field of international economic relations.
- Conduct scientific research and carry out scientific projects on the basis of identification of current scientific problems, definition of goals and objectives, formation and critical analysis of the information base, substantiation and commercialization of research results, formulation of author's conclusions and proposals.
- Carry out economic-mathematical forecasting, modeling and socio-economic diagnostics of various processes and objects in the sphere of international economic relations.
- Conduct scientific conversation and discussion in the appropriate professional level in Ukrainian and English, present the results of scientific research in oral and written form, organize and conduct training sessions.
- Ability to communicate in a business scientific and professional language, apply different styles of speech, methods and techniques of communication, demonstrate a broad scientific and professional vocabulary.
- Ability to use modern information and communication tools and technologies to ensure effective scientific and professional communications.
- Ability to independently conduct research and make decisions.
- Ability to formulate own author's conclusions, suggestions and recommendations.

Characteristics of the educational program:
Gained competence: the educational and scientific program is based on the fundamental tenets of international economic relations and the results of modern scientific research in the field of innovative development of theory and practice of international economy. It is aimed at the development of theoretical-methodological and methodological-applied base of international economic relations with accentuation of the latest tendencies of development of the world economy, which deepens the professional scientific outlook and provides a basis for carrying out scientific researches and further professional-scientific activity.
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of contemporary conceptual, methodological and methodological foundations in international economic relations.
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign scientific knowledge and practical experience in international economic relations.
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of theoretical and applied foundations of a wide range of varieties and spheres of international economic relations.
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the classical and modern methodological and methodological base of studies of socio-economic phenomena and processes in various spheres of international economic relations.

Academic mobility: within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program on the basis of bilateral agreements between the Lviv Polytechnic National University and the educational institutions of the partner countries.
