Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: The previous level, obtained in another country, requires nostrification, which is held by Lviv Polytechnic. The mechanisms of recognition of non-formal and informal learning are absent.

- the ability to demonstrate knowledge, awareness, and understanding of the scientific foundations of psychology, personality psychology throughout the life span;
- the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the social psychology of human communities, the foundations of their formation, development and functioning, life activity and social psychological phenomena which take place in society;
- the knowledge, understanding, skills and abilities of psycho-diagnostics, including computer psycho-diagnostics of individuals, social groups and different psychological phenomena, analysis, synthesis and evaluation of various mental and social psychological phenomena, determination of the negative trends of their development and their psychological prophylaxis;
- the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of individual and group psychological counseling, skills, knowledge and abilities for individual and group psychological counseling on various aspects of life of the individual and social groups;
- the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the development and implementation of various individual and group psychotherapeutic interventions aiming at certain psychological problem solving;
- knowledge and understanding of countering the psychological impact of a rival or opponent (enemy) into separate social groups and strata or population (armed forces) of the state, as well as to have the psychological impact on certain social groups and strata or population (armed forces) of another (other) state (states) in the Ukrainian and foreign languages.
- skills and ability to stimulate mental development of the individual at different stages of life, increase the health-improving potential and mental health, to ensure life success and career, as well as to acquire, independently, new knowledge and skills throughout life;
- skills and ability to develop and implement psychological measures for socialization and adaptation, and to prevent deviant behavior of citizens, especially among youths;
- the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills of psychological preparation and psychological activity support in the industrial, business, military and political spheres, optimization of psychological and moral-psychological climate in labor collectives, social groups and organizations;
- the ability to provide psychological aid in emergency and crisis situations in the process of life and activity;
- the ability and skills in psychotherapy, psycho-correction of development, behavior and activity of the individual and social group;
- skills and ability to identify and provide psychological aid to gaming, drug, alcohol, internet addicts, work dependent, the unemployed, the so-called social orphans, people with special needs and others.
- the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of conducting psychological experiments (awareness of the methods and procedure of conducting a psychological experiment) that provides the ability to make the hypothesis, plan and organize the experiment, collect and analyze data, demonstrate knowledge and understanding of mathematical methods in psychology, related to the basic level;
- the ability to communicate, including oral, written and electronic communication in Ukrainian and in one foreign language (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish);
- responsible work attitude and goal achievement in compliance with requirements of professional ethics;
- the ability to demonstrate the understanding of the basic principles of labor protection and safety of life activity with their application.
