Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: If a prior qualification level is gained in another country, it requires recognition (nostrification), which is conducted by Lviv Polytechnic National University. There are not mechanisms for the recognition of the learning outcomes gained through non-formal and informal learning developed.

- Advanced knowledge of environmental protection technology.
- Knowledge of the complex of technological, technical and organizational measures aimed at the reduction or complete exclusion of anthropogenic pollution on the environment.
- Knowledge of methods and tools for determining the current status of all components of the environment.
- Knowledge of the parameters of control and measuring equipment to determine the effectiveness environmental protection technologies and clearing environment from pollution.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and legal framework, scientific and methodical bases in technology of preservation, protection and restoration of the environment.
- Knowledge about technology of monitoring of air, water, land and biological resources.
- The ability to apply knowledge and understanding for the decision of qualitative and quantitative problems to eliminate man-made disturbances of ecosystems.
- The ability to analyze, evaluate, processing, interpretation and synthesis of environmental information and formation of databases.
- The ability to use information and analytical techniques to assess the environmental risks of different types of business activities on the environment.
- Skills of design and operation of systems and equipment for environmental protection.
- The ability to use specialized computer technology and software for estimating anthropogenic impact on the environment.
- Skills with specialized measurement and information systems and devices.
- The ability to assess the environmental risks of production on the environment.
