• basic knowledge to take environment-protection engineering measures;
• knowledge of cutting-edge equipment to reduce emissions of environmental pollution;
• basic knowledge of structure, working principle and installation of equipment for environmental protection;
• knowledge of Earth Sciences (meteorology and climatology, hydrology, soil sciences, geology with geomorphology principles) for the study of phenomena and processes occurring in the environment;
• knowledge of methodological, legal and methodical principles of ecological assessment.
• the ability to use profiled professional knowledge and practical skills of basic subjects in the environmental protection processes;
• the ability to apply knowledge and understanding for solving qualitative and quantitative objectives for the elimination of technogenic pollution;
• the ability to use knowledge about the causes of environmental hazards for substantiation of managerial decisions;
