Specific admission requirements:
Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: If a prior qualification level is gained in another country, it requires recognition (nostrification), which is conducted by Lviv Polytechnic National University. There are not mechanisms for the recognition of the learning outcomes gained through non-formal and informal learning developed.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Completion of the academic programme, passing a state examination, defence of a Bachelor’s thesis.
Characteristics of the educational program:
Gained competence: - the knowledge of theoretical bases of the following areas of tourism: recreation, tour operating, excursions, innovative tourism products, hotel business, restaurant business, service activity in tourism;
- the knowledge of the main regulations, operating standards and specifications, instructions and other regulatory and administrative documents in the field of tourism;
- understanding of marketing research into tourist services for pursuing effective product, pricing, sales policies at tourism enterprises;
- the knowledge of modern achievements of innovative technologies in the field of tourism.
