Summary of the subject:
Theoretical foundations of hydromechanics of the open channel flows. The theory of erosion of the river beds. The theory of the river's silting. Empirical models describing the erosion and sedimentation of open channel flows. The erosion of the river beds in the places of bridge crossing. Reducing of the water activity against the banks. Designing of booms, wavelets, etc. Designing of bank's reinforcement structures and their individual elements. Gabion designs.
