The student must know and understand:

• Principles of design, construction and technical operation of protected structures;
• the design and performance of the equipment;
• Principles of production of building constructions, products and materials.

• Operation of water management facilities;
• Facilities for waste disposal;
• Water and wastewater industry.
Summary of the subject:
Terms of the basic requirements for environmental protection facilities. Landslide, protyobvalni facilities and activities. Protyselevi facilities and measures requirements. Avalanche structures and measures requirements. Protykarstovi and protysufoziyni measures. Bank protection structures and measures requirements. Buildings and measures to protect against flooding, requirements. Buildings and measures to protect areas from flooding requirements. Anti-erosion structures and measures their requirements.
