Learning outcomes:
• have a systematic knowledge of the theoretical and applied principles of the mechanics of deformation of a solid, the physical nature of its destruction, as well as the basic methods of calculating structures and structures that are under conditions of complex loading;
• be able to choose rational methods and perform research of stress-strain state of engineering structures with elements in the form of core systems, plates and shells, to substantiate the forms, sizes, materials for the manufacture of elements;
• have erudition on the basic directions of development and prospects of practical application of methods of construction mechanics.
Required prior and related subjects:
• Philosophy and methodology of science;
• Current areas of research in civil engineering and civil engineering.
Summary of the subject:
Problem setting and basic equations of elasticity theory. Formulation of boundary conditions. General concepts and classification of problems of computational mechanics. General scheme of the finite element method algorithm. Element attributes. Finished element classification. Element stiffness matrix. Selection of the physical model behavior of the model material during de-molding and temperature change. Methods for constructing and editing a finite element grid. Modern computer aided design software.
