Learning outcomes:
• to know the general principles of planning and interior design of housing (functional zoning, spatial parameters, furniture and engineering equipment);
• be able to develop the interior design project in a certain style, taking into account the specific situation and using a range of constructive and decorative materials;
• to have an understanding of the development of styles in interior design, as well as architectural and spatial components of interior (home location, climate and orientation of the premises, the basic design of the building engineering systems).

Summary of the subject:
styles and trends in the history of interior, sphere of work of interior designers, functional and spatial foundations of the interior, the general principles of planning and interior design, theoretical and practical principles of achieving a harmonious interior, the theory of color and light in interior design, features of the social design, architectural and spatial components of the interior, finishing works in interior, the working out of interior design project, its approval and implementation.
