Learning outcomes:
• possession of basic instrumental research methods of electrochemical systems, in particular such as: cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, pulsed electrolysis, coulometry;
• аbility to apply basic physical and chemical methods of analysis of electrochemical systems;
• modern understanding of the mechanisms of the course of electrochemical and chemical reactions;
• аbility to apply modern experimental methods in work with electrochemical systems, skills of work with modern equipment;
• аbility to interpret data obtained from laboratory studies and correlate them with the corresponding theory.
Required prior and related subjects:
• Theoretical electrochemistry.
• Technical electrochemistry.
• Chemistry and technology of nanomaterials.
Summary of the subject:
Scientific research according to the theme of master's qualification work, which includes: selection of research methods; selection of appropriate reagents, materials and devices; installation of a laboratory installation and its testing; carrying out of corresponding experimental researches; the establishment of laws and their interpretation.
