• can choose the most optimal technological schemes for the purpose of reduction of harmful waste;
• to improve existing schemes in order to create low-waste technologies.

Prerequisites: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Hygienic principles of food safety.
Co-requisites: Modeling and designing of chemical and pharmaceutical enterprises, Industrial technology of pharmaceutical manufactures.

Ecological policy of Ukraine. Basic requirements for environmental protection in the manufacture of medicines. Source of chemical and pharmaceutical industries - raw materials, air, aqua, water vapor, electricity and fuel. Methods for cleaning gas emissions, sewage, disposal, toxic waste.
