- be able to apply the acquired knowledge in the creation and applying of information technology.

- prerequisites: Probability theory, stochastic processes and mathematical statistics.
- co-requisites: Infrormation technologies in publishing and printing business
Summary of the subject:
The quantitative evaluation of information. Entropy. Data compression. Error detection/correction coding. Modulation. Digitizing of continuous variables.
