Learning outcomes:
- the basic principles, tools and techniques of designing hardware VLSI
- basic functions and structure of very large scale integrated circuits and methods of their implementation in specialized systems,
- classify specific task design, prototype and find analogues, prepare and coordinate the technical specification for the project,
- select the appropriate hardware and software design tools,
• conceptual design stage to perform distributed execution functions between hardware and software,
• plan and use the means of verification and measurement of the relative performance obtained in the design and known results.

- Technology design of computer systems,
- Architecture of specialized computer systems.
Summary of the subject:
Development and research of VLSI. Methodology and design tools for VLSI FPGA. VLSI architecture development. Hardware description languages. Development of software programmable processors. Utilities of VLSI hardware. Promising research methods and VLSI design.
