Summary of the subject:
The theme, object, subject and tasks of the research. Scientific and other types of research. Scientific data and information, work with sources of information. The scientific activity and public policy. The objectives of science and technology policy and the means of its implementation. Classification of sciences, priorities and stages of scientific research. The effectiveness of fundamental and applied scientific researches. Methodology and methods of scientific research. The economic situation and financing of science.
