- Construction of a typical apparatus for the production of energy saving;
- Energy Technology foundations that combine chemical-technological processes and energy-saving fuel and energy resources and creating waste-free technology.

- More efficiently operate the equipment, where the complex heat and mass transfer processes;
- Identify and fully use secondary energy resources in terms of saving fuel and energy resources;

Summary of the subject:
The laws of thermodynamics, thermodynamic systems and processes. Main thermodynamic processes of ideal gases. Direct and inverse processes. Parameters of the working fluid at various phase states. The process of changing the state of water vapor. Exergy. Calculation of exergy flow of the working fluid. Exergy losses in real processes. Leakage, throttling gases and vapors. The differential and integral throttle effect. Steam-power installation. Carnot and Rankine cycles. Inverse thermodynamic cycles. Steam compression refrigeration machine.
