Learning outcomes:
• know the structure and operating principle of components, assemblies, mechanisms and systems of hybrid and electric drive vehicles, as well as current trends motor;
• know the criteria for assessing the operational efficiency of the vehicle with hybrid and electric drives, the influence of design parameters and operational factors on the performance properties of the vehicles, functional features and workflow components and vehicle systems;
• ability to design hybrid and electric drives with all aspects of the problem, including the creation, implementation and improvement.

Analysis of traction electric car. Traction electric car with the same type power plant. Batteries. General information about hybrid cars. Schematics build hybrid power plants. Design features of hybrid cars. The hybrid transmission. The serial hybrid drive. The parallel hybrid drive. Managing hybrid propulsion vehicle. Fuel cells. Alternative Energy Sources. Mathematical modeling of power drives.
