Learning outcomes:
- to know the types and methods of navigation, the general provisions of the satellite navigation, equipment and satellite navigation systems, their structures and components, system of time and coordinates of navigation systems, the order of formulating and solving the navigation problems;
- be able to apply tools and satellite navigation systems, produce a determination of the limitations and the selection of navigation equipment, to use the navigation receivers, to use the modern software packages for processing navigation information;
- understand the basic directions of development of satellite navigation and prospects of practical application of navigation equipment.
