ability to demonstrate knowledge and comprehensions of scientific and mathematical principles that lie in the base of photogrammetry and remote sensing;
• ability to use a variety of approaches for solution of specific problems in the field of geodesy and land management using photogrammetric methods;
• ability to apply knowledge, specifications, construction features of purpose and rules of operation of equipment and photogrammetric facilities to solve technical problems in the field of geodesy, cartography and land management
• ability to use photogrammetric and remote data for the study of processes and phenomena of the environment

Summary of the subject:
Geometric and physical foundations of capture of aerospace image of terrain and their main characteristics. Creation of terrain model using a single aerial photo. Geometric distortions on aerial photographs. Creation of the terrain model using pair of images. Analytical solution of basic stereophotogrammetric problems. Interpretation of aerial and space images. Application of data of aerospace survey and remote sensing data in the economy.
