Learning outcomes:
at the conceptual level, the main provisions of the migration legislation of Ukraine regulating the status of foreigners and stateless persons, the grounds and procedure for liability; tasks of main units in the field of migration; Types of measures employed by employees in carrying out tasks in the field of migration;
on the fundamental level of the peculiarities of the content of social relations that arise in the field of migration; main problems that are relevant in the field of counteraction to illegal migration; trends in the further development of social relations in the field of migration, as well as trends in the reform in a specific period of time;
at the practical level, the system, structure and basis for the organization of the activities of units in the field of migration; the procedure for the application of measures to foreigners and stateless persons; forms of interaction between law enforcement agencies with other law enforcement agencies, local self-government and the public; the content of procedural documents that are drawn up during the activities of the law enforcement agencies in the field of migration.
As a result, acquired in the process of studying the discipline of knowledge, students must be able to:
at the reproductive level, reproducing the basic concepts and categories that reflect the essence of activities in the field of migration, as well as the provisions of the migration law governing the activities of the police;
on the heuristic (algorithmic) level, it is possible to use the acquired knowledge arbitrarily to solve typical situations that arise during professional activities in the field of migration, as well as to organize their activities on the basis of a certain algorithm; to make the necessary documents;
at the creative level, to use their theoretical knowledge and practical skills to increase the efficiency of professional activity.

As a result, acquired in the process of studying the discipline of knowledge, students must be able to:

Subject, method and system of migration law. Migration as an integral part of human development. Migration processes in Ukraine: concept, essence, current state and development prospects. Bodies of state power as subjects of regulation of migration processes. Problems of the systematization of migration legislation. Legal Status of a Citizen of Ukraine in Migration Law. Institute for Freedom of Movement. The procedure for granting refugee status in Ukraine. Administrative responsibility for violating the norms of migration legislation. Administrative Responsibility in the Sphere of Migration: Concepts and Legal Principles. Types of administrative offenses in the field of migration. Features of administrative liability of foreigners, stateless persons and refugees for violation of migration rules.
