As a result of course study a student should have:
-knowledge on the properties of convergent numerical sequences, continuous and differentiable functions;
-abilities to use the apparatus of differential calculus to study the functional relationships and apply their knowledge to solve problems with other general and special disciplines.

Summary of the subject:
Elements of set theory. Real numbers. Numerical sequences and their properties. Limit of a function. Continuous functions. Differential calculus of functions of one variable. Taylor and Maclaurin formulae.
