Learning outcomes:
After the module is completed a student should:
know methods and techniques of diplomatic communication, basic types of documents and diplomatic correspondence; specifics of protocol practice of multilateral diplomacy (international organizations, international conferences, summits etc.); basic rules and norms of diplomatic etiquette as aspects of image of modern diplomat, official person;
know how to make summary documents based on the results of diplomatic conversations; make up plans of entertainment functions of different types; develop programs of visits; model seating charts of meetings, negotiations, summits, conferences, diplomatic receptions, in the different transport vehicles.
Required prior and related subjects:
Prerequisite: Theory of International Relations, Diplomatic and Сonsular Service.
Co-recuisite: Information Analytics in International Relations.
Summary of the subject:
Diplomatic protocol and etiquette, its meaning in diplomatic circles. Diplomatic correspondence. Protocol of visits of the official delegations. Protocol of international conferences. Diplomat and mass media. Visiting cards in diplomatic protocol and etiquette. Diplomatic reception. Protocol and table manners. Personal appearance of a diplomat, official person. Good manners or everyday etiquette.

Current control (40%): interrogation on seminars, execution of learning activities.
Summary control (60%, exam): testing.
