Learning outcomes:
• knowledge of purpose, construction, operation principles and characteristics of microprocessor systems and their main units;
• knowledge of power and microprocessor sensors coordination and converters features;
• knowledge of main principles of the information exchange in microprocessor systems;
• ability to provide the interaction between microprocessor systems and the object or the operator, and to manage information input-output;
• ability to create the main operation of microprocessor systems;
• knowledge of basic computing variables in electrical engineering;
• ability to create a microprocessor system according to required parameters.

Summary of the subject:
PC microprocessor architecture. Structure of a multipurpose microcomputer. Chipset. Structure of a one-purpose microcomputer. Memory: RAM, ROM, Cache. Hard drives and optical drives. Reliable information storage. Keyboard. Mouse. Touch input of information. Displays. Printers. Analog input. Analog-to-digital converters.Whittaker–Kotelnikov–Shannon Sampling Theorem and Aliasing Error. Distortion. Multi-system. Analog output. Digital-to-analog and latitude-to-pulse converters. Input / output discrete data. The information exchange between the microprocessor nodes and microprocessor systems. The ATA/IDE Interface. Local nets. Interaction between microprocessor system and the object of electrical energy, and the operator. Main electric technical data calculation.
