to know :
- principles and basic concepts of sources and energy generation systems;
- classification of DH system, thermal loads;
- make decisions on selection of energy generation system, heating supplies mode, selection of equipment from the selected source of energy.
be able to:
- calculate the thermal power customers for heating, ventilation, hot water supply;
- perform calculations of the annual heat consumption, perform hydraulic calculation of thermal water networks, technical-economic calculation.

Summary of the subject:
Assignment and development, methods and ways of classifying sources heat generation. Characteristics and sources of generation of energy. Requirements for the design and implementation of structures and sources of generation of energy. Methods and necessary to select the method of heating. Cogeneration. The conditions and necessity to use. Methods of selection and calculation. The types of cogeneration. "Municipal co-generation."
