Learning outcomes:
- to know the latest technology and combined heat and power power plant, modern energy saving in power lines, methods of design of experiments and experimental data processing, research methods and adjustment and optimization of heat engines, advanced thermal processes modeling technology and engineering of thermal power equipment.
- be able to experimentally investigate, establish optimal modes of thermal power equipment, simulate thermal processes, use of modern energy technologies, design modern industrial power systems, to conduct a comparative assessment of technical - economic and environmental performance of production before and after the implementation of measures of reconstruction and modernization.
Required prior and related subjects:
•Modes thermal power plants;
•Basics of reconstruction and modernization of thermal power plants;
•Cycling of steam and gas turbines.
