• know the basic concept of the heat source, thermodynamic basis of the process of compression, how cool the working fluid;
• a concept of exergy; heat pump; chillers; Steam-power installation;
• possess the technological principles of energy combination.

Summary of the subject:
Thermodynamic fundamentals of compression process. Methods of cooling of the working fluid.The concept of exergy; heat pump; chillers; Steam-power installation. Methods of direct conversion of energy. Energetic and technological combination.
