Learning outcomes:
Getting fundamental scientific and theoretical knowledge and practical skills aimed at mastering basic modern concepts of background environmental monitoring.

Environmental measurement and information technology. Databases in ecology. Hydroecology.
Summary of the subject:
Concept environmental monitoring. Environmental monitoring in Western countries. Environmental monitoring system in Ukraine. Models of processes of water pollution. Selection of information about the parameters of the water environment. Develop guidelines to select the network of observation. Methods of hierarchical structure and MSI for background environmental monitoring. The structure of the background environmental monitoring stations SHNPP. The principles of creation of information measuring systems for environmental monitoring of the aquatic environment. Modern techniques and control environment. Parameters of background environmental monitoring.
