Learning outcomes:
As a result of studying of disciplines the specialist should know :
- methods and techniques for purification of industrial emissions from mechanical and chemical contaminants.

A trained specialist should be able to :
to identify the sources of pollution of the environment by emissions and waste;
- conduct system analysis of technological processes;
- to carry out calculation treatment of engineering structures;
- use methods of waste disposal facilities;
- to carry out justification of the choice of equipment for reconstruction of existing and creation of new ecologically clean productions.

prerequisites-mathematics, physics, chemistry, ecology basics
corequisite - mechanics of liquids and gas, radiation, chemical and biological protection
Summary of the subject:
The discipline "Industrial ecology" is an integral part of the training of students, on the basis of which special knowledge of specialists is formed. A variety of processes, equipment and technologies for industrial emissions treatment is reduced to the study of a significant number of standard technologies, methods and methods from which industrial treatment facilities of various types of complexity can be synthesized. In this course, study of mechanical, physical, physico-chemical, chemical and biological methods of industrial waste treatment, machinery, equipment and technological schemes for their implementation. Examples of calculation and design of equipment for the process of cleaning are given. This will provide an opportunity to acquire skills of future specialists in the development of special technological schemes for the protection of man and the environment from industrial pollution.
