Learning outcomes:
1. Knowledge of methods and algorithms for the operation of end-user equipment.
2. Knowledge of hardware and software aspects of the work of data terminal equipment and methods of calculation their parameters.
3.Knowledge of modern trends of development and market of telecommunication.
4.Ability to apply methods for calculation the basic parameters of data terminal equipments.
5. Ability to configure and safely operate the data terminal equipments.
6. Ability to organize maintenance and restoration of end-user equipment.
Required prior and related subjects:
- Fundamentals of Communication Networks Theory;
- Software and Hardware for Embedded Systems;
- The Theory of Construction and Protocols of Infocommunication Networks.
Summary of the subject:
The telecommunication systems which are formed on the network resources by the data terminal equipment are studied. Contemporary developments and technologies in the field of data terminal telecommunication equipment are considered. The market and its tendencies of development, as well as issues of administration, operation and renewal of data terminal devices are highlighted.
