The Department of Applied Materials Science and Materials Engineering of Lviv Polytechnic National University is pleased to invite you to participate in the International Training in popularizing innovative technologies in materials science and smelting industry, which will take place on April 27, 2017 on the basis of the Department.
Within the framework of the conference, there will be opportunities to participate in the workshops of the leading experts from companies that create and use PTC Creo, Nowa Flow & Solid CV (Nova Cast Systems AB), CES Edu Pack (Granta Design) software, aimed at maintaining technological equipment of metallurgic complexes, machine building, energy and aerospace industries. The program includes discussing issues of components and product modeling, technological calculations simulation processes, smelting simulation processes and selecting material for product manufacturing taking into account economic feasibility.
In the Material Engineering Service-Office laboratory, the experts of the Department of Applied Materials Science and Materials Engineering of Lviv Polytechnic can provide you with a range of services:
- Product prototypes modeling and calculations;
- 3D-printing;
- Mechanic characteristics measuring;
- Microstructural analysis of materials;
- Determining chemical constitution of materials, powders and liquids (X-ray and fluorescent analysis).
- There will also be a round-table discussion on industrial, educational and didactic issues.
