Lecture «OSINT techniques – law students searching for information in the Internet»

A lecture «OSINT techniques – law students searching for information in the Internet» will be held on April 5, 2017, in the Institute of Jurisprudence and Psychology of Lviv Polytechnic National University (1/3 Prince Roman str., academic building 19, room 313). Beginning – 2pm.

The lecturer is Roman Radeiko, PhD, assistant of the Department of Administrative and Informational Law, Head of the Council of Young Scientists at the Institute of Jurisprudence and Psychology of Lviv Polytechnic.

OSINT (Open source intelligence) is intelligence based on open sources, which includes searching, selecting and collecting information from open sources, as well as analysing it.

Lecture program

  1. How to google correctly and not to get lost in the information flow?
  2. State registers as open information sources.
  3. Е-archives as academic and legal information sources.
  4. Ways of realizing your right for access to public information.
  5. Information search in social networks (facebook, vkontakte).
  6. Adhering to the intellectual property rights while using works published in the Internet.
