The students of the Khmelnitskyi Polytechnic College of Lviv Polytechnic National University continue to succeed. Taking the first places in the regional competitions, they represented the region at the national competitions and won quite a high places.
At the Ninth National Olympiad in Informatics and Computer Technology among the students of HEI of I and II levels of accreditation, that was held in Nova Kakhovka on May 18-20, 2016, the second-year student of gr. Pr-141 Arthur Borikun took the third place among the 23 participants. In the category "Text Editor" Arthur is the best in Ukraine.
The teacher in computer disciplines Lyudmila Solomko has prepared the winner for the Olympiad. She was recognized as the teacher of the year on the basis of the college work results in the 2014-15 academic year, and she was represented in the section "Teacher of the Year", which was released by the Board of Directors of the Universities of the I-II levels of accreditation in Khmelnitsky region.
At the VI National Olympiad in Electronics, that was held on May 18-20 in Vinnitsa the third-year student of gr. CS-132 Eugene Melnychuk took the second place among the 15 participants. The associate professor Vitalyi Havronskyyi has prepared the winner for the Olympiad.
At the VI National Olympiad in Ukrainian language among the students of HEI of I and II levels of accreditation our student Olexandr Kuharuk took the second place. The teacher of Ukrainian language and Literature Lesia Slobodzyan has prepared the student.
