The participants of the International Symposium have come together to consider the ways to address the needs of the disabled person and her/his inclusion in modern society according to the theme «Inclusion of people with disabilities» / «Inklusion von Menschen mit Behinderung». This is the working theme according to which the cooperation of Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine) started with the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg (Germany), with other Ukrainian institutions also involved since then. The collaboration between the German and Ukrainian partners is carried out within the framework of «The Eastern Partnership» general initiative of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, the sponsor.
