At the staff conference, which was held on March 30, Professor Yuriy Bobalo, Lviv Polytechnic Rector, said that the University had purchased a new recreation camp in the village of Hryada, Shatsk region, Volyn.
It includes small cottages with different levels of comfort. The camp can house up to 55 people. It is given to Lviv Polytechnic in fgood condition – with furniture, fridges, TV sets. There small kitchens, where people can cook food. The territory is fenced. It s located in a pine forest. The famous lake Svityaz is 20–30 metres away. The cost for one person is 250 hrn per day.
Yuriy Yaroslavovych said that one of the reasons for purchasing this camp was the fact that we cannot go to the Crimea, to the former recreation camp in Alushta any more. The decision was made by the commission, which included Rector, Vice-Rectors Anatoliy Moroz, Volodymyr Krayovskiy, Zinoviy Blikharskiy, Director of the Institute of Building and Environmental Engineering, Yaryna Turchyn, Director of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences and other officials. Yaryna Bohdanivna spent her vacation at this camp once and was very satisfied.
First holidaymakers are expected to come to the camp at the beginning of June. It will be possible to choose various periods.
