On July 2, 2018, started the registration of applicants’ e-cabinets where the certificate of complete secondary education can be downloaded. And from July 12, Ukrainian higher education institutions start accepting applications for admission.
Which institutions shall you choose? One of the main criteria to make this extremely important choice is the university rankings. However, it is not the only one. Many other aspects are important for the future student, including the level of training of the most popular IT disciplines.
Innovative activity of the University in the IT sphere
The IT industry is one of the most dynamic sectors of the Ukrainian economy, and the IT specialization for a long time has been one of the most popular professions among Ukrainian applicants. Recently, the University has been strengthening its leading positions among Ukrainian universities in the field of IT specialists training, as well as its place and authority among national and international institutions.

However, the IT sphere continues to grow rapidly, which prompted Lviv Polytechnic to make drastic changes in IT education. In 2016, in cooperation with Lviv IT Cluster – the community of leading companies in IT sphere – the University launched the first IT Bachelor program «Internet of Things». Today, Lviv Polytechnic has five such Bachelor programs from Cluster that train future IT specialists.
Today Cluster presents 9 programs in Lviv universities, 4 of which start this year in September. 5 of them will be hold in Lviv Polytechnic.
